  • What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?
    The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
    For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
  • How can I get help with my booking?
    Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
  • Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site?
    They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us through our contact form.
  • Are small pets allowed?

Wonderful honeymoon trip
Was amazing lovely honeymoon trip.. I stayed for one week, the whole staff was more than amazing so welcoming specially Salwa she assisted and helped me with everything there.
I definitely recommend anyone couples, family with children to visit and explore the resort.

The greatest tropical holiday
This was truly a dream destination. From being greeted by the staff when you get off the seaplane to the awesome food, drinks and service this resort has to offer. We stayed in a beach villa with private pool. Best choice you can make when it comes to types of room. Yoojin drove us over the island to make sure that we knew every perfect spot that we could go. We rented bikes during our stay, which made it easy to go around the island. If you don't want to bike, there is a "bus" (a cute little golf cart) driving over the island so you don't have to walk. It isn't a big island, but it can take some time from a to b if you're on foot. If you think of tropical dream destination with palmtrees and perfect sea and beaches, you get all this at this resort.
The food is amazing!! The service is also impeccable (a big thank you to Manu).

Make sure to get a LUX* frappe in the morning and some nice drinks in Beach Rouge during the evening.

In short, the staff is amazing, food is amazing, location is amazing, service is amazing. Did I mention it is all amazing ;)
It was really hard being back home and having to miss all that we had during our stay.

Paradisal Stay
My wife and I stayed at LUX South Ari Atoll in 2017, and this is our second visit—we loved it. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming, greeting you throughout the day. Special thanks to Salwa and Ali for their exceptional service, and to Rifath for arranging the Manta excursion. The breakfast was expansive and wholesome, and with over five different restaurants offering diverse culinary experiences, the lunch and dinner options were plentiful.

Perfect Honeymoon Retreat
We have had the pleasure of staying at a Lux previously and this resort doesn't fail to maintain those high standards set.

Stepping off the sea plane you are immediately greeted by name and following a short check in, escorted to your room to allow you to freshen up (much needed after a long journey!). From there you are free to wander the island, interact with the wonderful staff and take advantage of the amazing food/activities on offer!

We were lucky enough to spend an extended period on the island and therefore got to do everything on offer (a couple of times actually)! Following breakfast (which can be taken at one of two locations), we enjoyed an offset approach whereby we would go to the location where lunch wasn't being served that day. This meant that we would essentially have a pool/beach to ourselves and still get poolside service from the nearby bar. This was perfect for us and at times felt like we had the island to ourselves.

The food is amazing, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. We however particularly liked Mixe for breakfast, with Zahir going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need at each stage and the lagoon bar for Lunch, which gives that quintessential island bar feel and does the most incredible mocktails. For dinner we couldn't pick a favourite as they each provided something different, although Umami gets a high rating for its Teppanyaki!

We also recommend highly the activities on offer, whether it be the more relaxed Latte art class or coconut painting, the weekly quiz or something more adventurous like the water sports or snorkelling (we managed to see most of the sea life excluding a whale shark by doing this), there is always something to look forward to, supported by the friendly faces of the Lux staff.

Everything at Lux is facilitated through your personal guest concierge who you can communicate to through WhatsApp during your stay, making it very convenient to plan your activities and dinner from the comfort of your room/sun lounger. The system works well, but is not perfect as we had some small booking errors but nothing that wasn't resolved within a couple of minutes. Thanks Salwa for all your support and making the stay extra special and relaxing!

My final comment goes to the shuttlebus, which ferries guests from one end of the island to the other. While this could be seen as a boring necessity to be able to traverse the island, even this has the Lux touch, with extremely friendly and happy drivers. This made our many journeys across the island very enjoyable and pleasant, in keeping with the whole experience!

Angereist mit Skepsis und abgereist in Begeisterung!!! Super Insel und Hotel was keine Wünsche übrig lässt! Perfekt für alle die es nicht zu klein als Insel Größe mögen.
Alle sehr freundlich, höflich und extrem angenehm dabei.

Wir dürfen uns noch extra bedanken bei Rashwaan für das Housekeeping ( diskreter und gleichzeitig freundlicher geht nicht mehr )!

Luxuriöses Ressort mit allem drum und dran
Wir waren 10 Tage im LUX in einer Romantic Overwater Villa mit Pool und hatten eine sehr erholsame Zeit - trotz Wetterpech und mehreren Stürmen.
Schon die Anreise mit dem Wasserflugzeug ist ein Abenteuer. Die ganze Organisation war bereits ab Flughafen in Male top und bei Ankunft auf der Insel wurden wir herzlich empfangen und erhielten gleich eine persönliche Betreuerin, Annika, die uns laufend über WhatsApp das Tagesprogramm schickte, Fragen beantwortete und Spezialaktivitäten organisierte. Sie war Gold wert.

Das Personal ist durchs Band freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir durften viele interessante Gespräche führen und waren vor allem von Anfal (Roomservice), Rishmeen (Restaurant-Service) und Nur (Kaffeebar) begeistert. Viele mehr eingeschlossen. Ein Highlight war das romantische Privatdinner am Strand mit eigenem Koch und Kellner, was natürlich zusätzlich kostet, aber man lebt ja nur einmal. :) Weil meine Frau ihren Geburtstag vor Ort feierte, gabs eine süsse und prickelnde Überraschung auf Zimmer, was wir dankbar genossen.

Die Villa war traumhaft und vor allem der eigene Pool hat uns begeistert. FlipFlops, Strandtasche und Hüte sind vorhanden, braucht man also nicht packen. Der Fussweg auf dem Steg zu diesen Villas kann je nach dem recht lang sein, es gibt aber Fahrräder, die man für eine Tagesgebühr mieten kann (hier hätte ich erwartet, dass es inkludiert ist).
Die Insel ist fast 2 Kilometer lang und so kommt man gut auf seine Tagesration an Schritten. Wer das nicht möchte, kann, wie gesagt, Fahrräder leihen oder einen Shuttle-Service nutzen (Golfcaddies). Von diesen Fahrzeugen gibts recht viele, was die Insel etwas "busy" macht. In der Nebensaison war das noch ganz ok aber ich weiss nicht, ob ich in der Hauptsaison lieber eine kleinere, ruhigere Insel wählen würde (Geschmacksache). Zumal dieses Ressort auch viele Familien mit kleinen Kindern anzieht.

Hervorzuheben ist auch das Essen, das immer sensationell war. Insbesondere die indisch und lokal orientierten Menüs. In der Nebensaison sind nicht alle Restaurants täglich geöffnet, was aber Sinn macht und immer noch mehr als genug Auswahl bietet.

Und dann noch: Unbedingt die Walhai-Tour buchen, die um 9 Uhr morgens losgeht. Natürlich ist eine Begegnung nicht garantiert, aber wir hatten das grosse Glück und es war definitiv etwas vom Eindrücklichsten, was wir beide je gesehen haben.

Alles in allem wunderbare Ferien in den Malediven, und das LUX empfehlen wir ohne Zögern weiter.

Abgesehen von Shamin, einem der Manager, der uns den Aufenthalt in dieser Form und absolut spontan überhaupt erst ermöglicht hat, möchten wir uns auch auf diesem Wege nochmals bei Salwa, die uns als Ansprechpartnerin durchgehend „betreut“ hat, nahezu ständig für uns erreichbar war und uns sämtliche Wünsche erfüllt hat und ganz besonders bei Ahmed unserem Housekeeper bedanken. Ahmed ist der herzlichste, zuvorkommendste und freundlichste Housekeeper, den wir je erleben durften. In Villa 338 hat es an nichts gefehlt. Im Gegenteil: wir kamen aus der Dankbarkeit gar nicht mehr heraus und fühlten uns 24/7 einfach super aufgehoben! Ein riesen großes DANKESCHÖN nochmal an Euch alle.

Das LUX selbst wird seinem Namen absolut gerecht, hat die 5 Sterne vollends verdient und sollte für jeden auf der Lebens-Agenda stehen. Mindestens mehrmals 😉
Wir werden den Aufenthalt nie mehr vergessen und wünschen allen, die das lesen und dort Zeit verbringen die gleiche tolle und wunderschöne Erfahrung, wie wir sie hatten.
Übrigens: möglich gemacht haben es uns, neben Shamin, auch und vor allem Irina und Devan, die als Travel-VLOGGER unter dem Pseudonym „Living the Globe“ auf diversen Social Media Plattformen zu finden sind. Danke Euch beiden auch nochmals. Macht unbedingt weiter so. Da die beiden zwei vollumfängliche Videos zum LUX Resort auf Youtube veröffentlicht haben, möchte ich statt hier Bilder einzustellen, hier auf diese beiden Videos verweisen. Paradise on earth
premetto di essere stato molte volte alle Maldive, in resort di ogni categoria ma il Lux è stato il più bello. Natura veramente mozzafiato, spiagge lunghissime per la media delle isole maldiviane, lingua di sabbia eccezionale che quasi si unisce a Dhigurah dove però non si può andare a piedi (isola abitata dai maldiviani con qualche hotel anche per turisti). Unica pecca, ma ormai è così da tempo e un po’ ovunque, niente pesci e coralli, noi e lo tsunami abbiamo fatto un pessimo lavoro negli oceani. Il resort è grande, ci sono due piscine fotoniche, palestra, parco per bimbi, asciugamani gratuiti ovunque, ombrelloni, poltrone, altalene sulla grande laguna e per i più pigri ci sono le navette che vanno avanti e indietro ogni 3 minuti se non volete noleggiare una bicicletta, cosa che invece vi consiglio. Molti ristoranti, asiatico, italiano, pizza, una scelta di cibo incredibile, ben cucinato e buffet esposto da 5 stelle, molto curato. Ottimo il gelato. Vegetariani o vegani vi troverete certamente bene qui. Sui drink della sera si può migliorare però, anche se si usufruisce dell’all-inclusive. Il personale è comunque attento a ogni minimo particolare, sono davvero di una gentilezza educata e pacata di livello molto alto e, nonostante alcuni irrilevanti complaints da parte nostra, ogni piccolo problema è stato risolto immediatamente ed in maniera esaustiva. Li ringrazio tutti, dal front Office manager Mr. Shamin, al maître ai ragazzi in spiaggia, gli autisti dei taxi, le restaurant manager del mattino (vi consiglio di andare all’East Market di mattina che la luce è magnifica) fino alla cena con aragosta offerta a ben 5 persone del mio gruppo, davvero un servizio impeccabile. Mi ricorderò di tutti voi e di questa meravigliosa natura maldiviana che non finisce mai di sorprenderci non escludendo che torneremo con altre persone in futuro. LUX, davvero un paradiso!

Traumurlaub Lux* South Ari Atoll
Wir hatten einen wahnsinnig tollen Urlaub hier!
Schon wenn man ankommt wird man herzlich Willkommen geheißen und es wird sich sofort um einen gekümmert.
Man hat einen Mitarbeiter als Ansprechpartner, welchen man stets kontaktieren kann.
Bei uns hat sich Annika um alles gekümmert. Wir konnten ihr zu jeder Uhrzeit eine WhatsApp schreiben und Sie hat alles organisiert. Das war top!
Auch die Essensangebote und Aktivitäten des nächsten Tages haben wir immer per WhatsApp von ihr bekommen.
Die Insel, als auch die Anlage sind wie aus dem Katalog. Man hat Natur und Tiere direkt vor der Tür und ein tolles Riff direkt am Hotel.
Man kann alles bequem mit dem Fahrrad oder Transportservice erreichen.
Mit dem Fahrrad kann man viel entdecken. Auch sonst bietet das Hotel viele Aktivitäten an, sodass einem nie langweilig wird. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend.
Man fühlt sich hier einfach von Beginn an sehr wohl und kann genießen.

Une belle expérience!
Magnifique resort! Un service aux petits soins, un cadre magnifique, une nourriture excellente… tout y était pour notre séjour en famille. Merci à Salwa pour son accueil et son aide pendant notre semaine.
Seul bémol au retour, l hydravion nous a déposé à l aéroport de Malé avec 7 h d avance et nous n avons pas eu droit à l accès au lounge Lux comme à l aller…… dommage de la part du Lux de ne pas nous faire profiter de ses belles prestations jusqu au bout !

il paradiso. super rilassante.
atollo abbastanza grande per non annoiarsi. era la mia paura. poi con tre figlie invece tra poscina, mare e cibo la settimana è volata. bella la natura, staff gentilissimo e. sempre sorridente. cibo ottimo e molte proposte. attività serali e mini club non proprio il massimo, forse perché è un resort.

L’hôtel exceptionnel à ne surtout pas rater dans l’atoll South Ari des Maldives et dans sa vie !
Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Le design de l’hôtel, de ses villas, des restaurants et du spa s’harmonise complètement avec la végétation luxuriante et la mer turquoise à souhait.
La richesse des activités nous a permis de prendre soin de nous tout en découvrant l’incroyable vie aquatique de l’île. Nous recommandons vivement la nage avec les raies manta.
L’engagement green de l’hôtel est également un très grand plus !
Et surtout nous avons été chouchoutés par tout le personnel de l’île sans exception pendant cette semaine ! Nous regrettons déjà vos sourires sincères et nos conversations joyeuses.

Laguna meravigliosa. Qualche rischio di affollamento. Gestione costi migliorabile.
Prima di tutto i complimenti vanno fatti a un'isola bellissima, dalla rigogliosa vegetazione e dotata di una laguna strepitosa, che non tutte le isole delle Maldive possono vantare allo stesso modo.
I servizi della catena Lux sono evidentemente frutto di una grande esperienza e sempre capaci di soddisfare il cliente. Numerosi dettagli della struttura risultano in grado di incuriosire e affascinare.
Le stanze migliori (palafitte con piscina) sono ubicate nella zona più bella, accessibili da un lungo pontile che si sviluppa lungo una fascia di mare incantevole. Sono piacevolmente spaziose e attrezzate con ampio deck e piscina di buone dimensioni. Essendo orientate a Est risultano ben godibili nel pomeriggio. Gli arredi sono semplici ma spiritosi.
Per quanto riguarda la gestione della stanza abbiamo apprezzato la cura quasi maniacale di Alfan, che se n'è occupato con una premura davvero encomiabile.
Il livello della ristorazione raggiunge livelli di eccellenza al ristorante Allegria, che ci ha veramente impressionati con un livello di cucina paragonabile ai migliori ristoranti di casa nostra. Da aggiungere che si cena sulla spiaggia e che l'amichevole personale di questo ristorante manifesta una cortesia speciale. Comunque abbiamo mangiato molto bene anche al Senses dove si gusta un'ottima cucina indiana, sempre sulla spiaggia. In paragone, un po' sottotono il Beach Rouges, certo più modaiolo ma con livello culinario più modesto.
Valutazione di estrema soddisfazione per l'iirinunciabile colazione sul pontile dell'East Market, che si sviluppa sul mare con un fresco delizioso, una vista impagabile e una desiderabile varietà di cibi di grande qualità.
Giudizio positivo lo possiamo esprimere anche sulla SPA, non al livello di altre delle Maldive, ma comunque gradevole.
Nel bene e nel male l'isola è molto grande, tanto che per andare da una parte all'altra si sfrutta quasi sempre l'efficientissimo servizio di bus elettrico, che passa ogni 10 minuti. Nel bene perché nella settimana di permanenza non si rischia di soffrire il mal d'isola; le spiagge sono lunghissime e i numerosi bar e ristoranti creano molteplici opportunità per un soggiorno privo di noia. Nel male perché quando tutte le stanze sono occupate gli ospiti superano le 400 unità e la struttura si congestiona. Il primo giorno non siamo riusciti a trovare sdraio libere né in spiaggia né in piscina e siamo dovuti tornare in camera. Il secondo abbiamo dovuto ricorrere alla cortesia di un ospite che ci ha liberato la postazione destinata alla figlia per consentirci di disporre di una coppia di sdraio in piscina. Poi, per il resto del soggiorno non ci sono stati più problemi.
Per completare una recensione in modo obiettivo osservo che andrebbe migliorata la gestione del cliente sotto il profilo economico. I prezzi dell'alimentazione sono estremizzati rispetto allo standard della struttura. Sui menù vengono presentati in modo più accattivante depurati da servizio e tasse, che invece incidono pesantemente per il 26% rendendo i costi finali piuttosto gravosi. Così servono 40/45 Dollari per una pizza o per un piatto di pasta.
Questo potrebbe essere in sé tollerabile, considerando che ci troviamo in mezzo all'Oceano, ma il management rivela purtroppo una vena troppo avida con scelte e pretese incompatibili con costi già così elevati.
Per fare qualche esempio, una bottiglia di acqua filtrata al ristorante costa 9 Dollari; quando utilizzi il room service spendendo 90 Dollari per due piatti di pasta hanno il coraggio di aggiungerti ulteriori 10 Dollari per il trasporto; una bottiglia di vino costa dai 75 Dollari in su e potrebbe anche andar bene, ma non è corretto chiederli in cambio di vini di misero livello, quelli che si acquistano con 6/7 Euro nei supermercati italiani. Antipatico anche pagare il noleggio delle biciclette, indispensabili a chi soggiorna nelle palafitte, che sono raggiungibili solo percorrendo lunghissimi pontili assolati dove non è previsto il trasporto di persone con altri mezzi.
Balzelli che si rivelano fastidiosi a causa della sensazione che producono di voler spremere il cliente fino in fondo. Un'ingordigia che può forse soddisfare qualche umana sensazione di ultra guadagno ma che alla fine costituirà un ben misero impatto sugli utili globali della struttura. E a fronte di una riduzione dell'interesse della clientela per un ritorno, rendendosi così alla fine globalmente anti convenienti.
In sintesi direi che l'esperienza generale è risultata gradevole anche se al momento il mio intendimento non è quello di tornare in questa struttura.

Vacaciones en el paraíso
Hemos estado siete días y han sido perfectos. Destaca la amabilidad de todos los empleados y la calidad del servicio. Siempre atentos a lo que puedas necesitar, cuidándote, mimándote y haciendo que tu día sea simplemente perfecto.
La comida es de gran calidad y cocinada con esmero y gusto.
Puedes encontrar sobretodo comida asiática pero para los nostálgicos de la comida europea, también hay opciones, eso sí, todas cocinadas con producto local lo que le da un plus.
El resort ocupa toda la isla y aunque esté completo no hay sensación de agobio.

Respecto a las actividades deportivas es muy recomendable la excursión de Sports Center para ver el tiburón ballena y las tortugas. Los chicos son maravillosos y conseguimos ver todos los animales.

La llegada en hidroavión es parte de la aventura y cuando te reciben en el hotel ya empiezas a experimentar la hospitalidad. Giada ha sido nuestra guía y consejera durante estos días y su ayuda ha sido excepcional, siempre disponible y solícita a cualquier petición o capricho

Puede que suene a tópico pero es un verdadero paraíso.

El mejor resort en el que he estado, aunque muy caro
Inolvidable experiencia la allí vivida. Todo era extraordinario, la habitación over water, la comida y la bebida, el buceo, las playas…
El único, pero importante pero es lo increíblemente caro que es todo. Por ejemplo, una botella de agua 21$. Hay que ir, sí o sí, con la opción de “all inclusive” y no salirse de ella.

Experiencia excepcional e inolvidable
Nuestra experiencia en este resort siempre es increíble y , en esta ocasión ( hemos estado 11 veces ) , ha sido EXCEPCIONAL. Desde nuestro recibimiento en el aeropuerto, nuestra llegada al resort con Gabrielle, la cuál nos ha gestionado todas las reservas de los diferentes restaurantes( con un servicio , amabilidad y comida dignos de mención ), facilitándonos todo lo necesario durante nuestra estancia. La habitaciones son preciosas, cómodas e impecablemente limpias. Pero, además, en esta ocasión, tenemos que destacar a un persona increíble que, se ha convertido en nuestro amigo , AHMED, nuestro asistente de habitación que, ha hecho de nuestras vacaciones algo imposible de olvidar, estando pendiente a cada momento de que no nos faltara nada y todo estuviera perfecto. EXPERIENCIA EXPECTACULAR
La estancia ha sido increíble!!!! Sin duda es un lugar espectacular. Nos alojamos en la romantic pool villa. La comida es espectacular, y el trato de todo el Staff del hotel increíble. Mencionar especialmente a Adesta, cocinero del restaurante East Market. Su trato fue espectacular!!!!
